Global Winds Harvest Management Team

Global Winds Harvest is comprised of a varied group of individuals, each with a particular expertise and yet all with a wide base of experience in wind energy development. With over 50 years of industry experience between us, we have a solid understanding of all aspects of wind power development - from the first knock on a landowner's door to the first day of facility O&M. We believe that this breadth has great value for communicating clearly and effectively with all of our partners.

Ingo Stuckmann, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer

Ingo received a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from the University of Heidelberg and later conducted research at Harvard University. Since 1993 he has been developing wind farms in both Europe and the U.S. As a manager at Augusta-Wind S.L. he planned more than 1,200 MW of utility-scale wind park projects in Spain.  Ingo has served on the advisory board of Augusta-Wind, S.L. since 1999, the same year that he co-founded Global Winds Harvest.

Reiner Borgmeyer, CFO

Reiner received a Masters in Economics from the University of Osnabruck in 1993, where he focused on investment banking and project finance. Before joining Global Winds, Reiner served as general manager for leading wind turbine manufacturer Nordex. While at Nordex, Reiner developed and financed over 30 wind parks with a total installed capacity of more than 450 MW. Reiner has also directed several planning offices for renewable energies and has been with Global Winds Harvest since co-founding the company in 1999.

Thomas Tschiesche, Ph.D., President

Thomas received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, a Diploma of Engineering and a Ph.D. from the University of Duisburg. Prior to joining Global Winds, Thomas served over 5 years as general manager at Nordex, one of the world's leading wind turbine manufacturers. Over 100 wind farm projects were realized under his management - in locales as varied as Pennsylvania, California, Germany, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, and China.  Thomas has been with Global Winds Harvest since co-founding the company in 1999.

Erich Bachmeyer, J.D., VP of Development

Erich received a J.D. from George Washington University's National Law Center in 1990. Prior to joining Global Winds, Erich worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and co-founded an international trading company. Erich manages legal issues and has been developing projects for Global Winds since 2000.

Dan Albano, Ph.D., Environmental Affairs and VP Development

Dan received his doctorate in biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  Prior to joining Global Winds, he was an educator and environmental consultant, specializing in avian ecology. Dan directs efforts to ensure that all GWH projects satisfy the strictest environmental due diligence.  He has been developing Global Winds Harvest projects since 2001.
